Peer Review
Last week we did our peer reviews on our portfolio film products. I was very pleased with the feedback we received from the class. I was fairly confident in our products but the peer review strengthened that feeling even further.
The majority of my classmates congratulated my group but we also received important criticism. One of the main points that we were suggested to work on was the clarification of the mother in the film. It wasn't clear to everyone that the main character's mother is dead. We received feedback as to how to fix it. The best suggestion we received was to add a memorial candle next to a picture of the dead mom.
Another valuable suggestion that we received was to make him look more shaken up near the end of the film.
In addition, we were told to possibly take out some clips of him walking home because it took a lot of time. This way we could also add to the middle and end parts to strengthen the plot.
We also received a lot of positive criticism in which they applauded us for our choice of music, acting, camera movement, etc...
